Palm Spirit named locally as Akpeteshie, is the national spirit of Ghana, produced by distilling palm wine or sugar cane. In Nigeria it is also known as Ògógóró. In this case "The Nubi" is tapped from the trunk of palm trees.

Aphro makes smooth-tasting, triple-distilled liquors, known as a ‘palm spirit’. It is a modern take on an ancestral spirit crafted using both modern and traditional practices.
